
The Art Route
Experience the wealth of art on Langeland
The art route gives you the chance to combine seeing the island’s best artistic and cultural attractions with visiting individual artists and craftspeople, all while you travel through Langeland’s beautiful countryside of Langeland.
The route is around 160 km long, running from the North of Langeland to the South. The Route follows the “Herregårdsruten” (Eng. = Manor House Route) with a few extra detours. The Art Route can be undertaken by car or on bicycle.

The three walking-routes
If you would rather get around on your own two feet, we have put together suggestions for three walking routes which will take you past a wide selection of the artworks on Langeland. In Bagenkop (4 km) the focus is on handicrafts, in Rudkøbing (5 km) it is on sculptures and in Tranekær (4 km) on art in nature. On the tour you can also listen to stories about selected works.
