Open during week 7

The Cold War Museum Langelandsfort will be open from Saturday 7 February to Saturday 14 February 2025.

The museum is open daily from 10:00 to 15:00.

Admission is DKK 75 for adults, while children have free admission (note: children's day is an additional purchase).

Please note that not all exhibition venues will be open, as new exhibitions are currently being set up.

Short tours (Only in Danish) of the hall with the Orca and the new submarine are offered at 11:00, 12:00 and 13:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Guided tours are offered at 11:00 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Langelandsfort lies close to the southern tip of the island, where it was built at the start of the 1950s. During the Cold War (1953 -1989) Langelands Fort was responsible for the surveillance and military command of the Baltic region. The Fort was finally decommissioned in 1993, and now forms part of Langelands Museum. It features a series of permanent exhibitions together with temporary special exhibitions which change regularly.
